Can't have it

I know some things are out of my control,
Some things I don't get to decide,
I always want what I can't have
And sometimes it's too late,
I can't change what's already happened,
I grip onto whatever I can
But sometimes there's nothing there,
Life is so ugly
But I don't want it to be,
I always want what I can't have
Even though I know it's too late,
I can't have it.
