When you look in the mirror
Do you hate what you see?
Your disgusted by your face
Do you wish to be free?

When you sit at home
Do you hate what you hear?
Your parents hurtful words
Always drowning out your ears?

When your mom leaves at night
And comes back early next day
Drunk and in bad shape
Do you You hate her this way?

When your daddy ups n' leaves
Do you hate that he left you
Praying every night
His absence eating at you

When you see your body
Do you hate the awful shape?
You starve yourself more everyday
Never realizing your mistake

When your daddy touches
Do you hate how it feels?
Nightmares every night
Waking up in cold chills

When you cut your self-deep
Do you hate that you do?
Your heart bleeding eternally
Its Screaming for you

When youre sitting in his car
Do you hate that he asks you
To give yourself, all of it
Getting mad if you dont want to

When he leaves and breaks your heart
Do you hate him for this?
You cry alone in the dark
Longing for his forgotten kiss

When you find out your pregnant
Do you hate that this is true
But You keep the lil angel anyway
Even though the dad walked out on you

When your daddy has gone to war
Do you pray every night?
Crying alone in the dark
Wishing hell be alright

When you and your family are on the streets
Do you hate that theres no way
For you to ever get food and shelter
Theyre dying more each day

When you get raped in the corner
Do you want to kill him dead?
Knowing hell be back some day
His face trapped inside your head

When you dreams fall apart
Do you hate that you didnt try
To focus more on whats ahead
More tears fall from the eyes

When you stand above a casket
And you realize that its your kid
Do you hate the way life has lead
U hate god for not letting her live

When your shooting heroine in the dark
Do you hate when your child sees
He yells for you to stop
Hes alone, cold and hungry

When you yell and hit him
Do you hate what youve turned into?
He cries and cries all night long
Wishing for the words I love you

When your kid is gone forever
Do you hate knowing the truth?
The kidnapper is on the loose
And theres nothing you can do

When you awake in the hospital
And the news comes to your ears
You killed a 16 year old drunk
Prison for many many years

When youre up in Heaven
Do you hate seeing your family cry??
Theyre falling apart with out
Suicide in their eyes

When the worlds turned its back
Do you hate that you know
Everyday misfortune happens
