Black Rose

by haileyy   Jun 25, 2008

The red rose is now black
It drips down with its cold tears
The love it gave to someone
Is now in the past

The black rose was once pretty
But now not whole
It needs to be complete
For it's its sorrow

The black rose cries
Cries for water and sunlight
No one is there to give
No one is there to take

On its lonesome self in the ground
It never grows
Just sits there
Like there is no tomorrow

When you see the black rose
It reminds you of the memories
The memories you once had with hate
Now you're happy
Because the black rose has your hate

I went by to see it
It looked like me
I took it home
Now it just bleeds

It did not want the sunlight
It did not want the growth
It wanted the pain
The pain everyone put on it

The black rose is never fair
For it has no voice
But it has eyes that stare
Stare through the harshness

It became black by us
But it likes the hurt
The hurt that we have put on it

I take one last look
I let it go free
I visit it everyday
But it never greets me

I put my worries and sorrow on it
Now it is black
And it is my entire fault

I am the black rose
I have been planted
And hatred is upon me

Well i like it very much but if i may sugest some thing you might find usefull to enrich the poem to be better

the rose in your words , drink water and want sunlight
i would sugest she drink love and need your man

your rose would not cry , it demolish herself petal by petal

slowly dying and fading away to the void

    ...

    i hope i inspre you a bit

    good work
