Behind this fake disguise,
A broken heart cries,
Behind all the smiles and laughter,
Theres a shattered girl, who seems to fall, faster and faster.
You cant judge a book by its cover,
Because underneath there may be so much more to discover,
A whole new person, who needs to be found,
Someone whos hidden, because of being scared to fall to the ground.
You see people everywhere, in the street,
But you can never tell who is struggling to find their feet,
You never know who is truly happy with who they are,
Because a fake smile and make-up, has covered up this much so far.
Everyone hurts, at some point in their life,
And sometimes it will feel, like someone stabbed you with a knife.
Theres always change, hurt and joy,
But sadly theres some people who will use your heart as a toy.
So when and if you fall and break,
Giving up may seem the better choice to take,
But life will eventually turn around,
So you can pull yourself up off of the ground.
