Truth Behind a Lie

by Beautiful Forever   Oct 17, 2008

A new conscious building perfect lies,
Writhing with an uneasy sense of pain,
Desperately reaching for more alibis,
A lost truth slowly drives me insane,

Broken...

Lost inside a new sight of mischief,
My heart slowly decays with blindness,
I've failed to follow one simple belief,
Never again to see a softer kindness,

Crawling...

Wishing for hope to say I'm innocent,
Two mysteries invade my shallow mind,
Whispering words so painful as meant,
The gears in my brain begin to grind,

Torn...

To kill an intent lie you must stay true,
Only hiding what holds enriched value,
Falling under a wrong lie that grew,
As she whispers "I do not love you"
