Intolerance in Society (Double Etheree)

by Sylvia   Dec 1, 2008

Hate.
Vicious.
Racism.
Intolerance.
Discrimination.
A scourge of prejudice,
preconceived judgments we make.
Ugly words, hurled and spewed today,
with wrath, will not end this ugliness.
Words, scar the soul of innocent victims.

Raise your voice, speak out to society,
enough of this hateful behavior.
Embrace people with compassion.
Do not speak words that will wound.
Open your arms and mind.
Change humanity,
remove the scourge.
Tolerance.
Respect.
Love.

Well said!! Society has to change and learn
to embrace new cultures and their people
instead of growing hatred. Excellent work..take care.

Very unique and it sure gives off a good message. What wise words you have written, great work, and nice format you placed it in. I'll have to try that sometime, 5/5 from me. Keep writing, take care...
