Where were you?

by Faithless   Dec 13, 2008

Where were you when I needed you
you weren't there to come to my rescue
now that I have found someone new
finally you came forward to be in his shoes

Do you know how long I've waited for you?
and what you have put me through?
knowing that 'us' wouldn't come true
I had to find a substitute

Every time I kiss your substitute
I close my eyes and wish it was you
how tender your lips would be?
how would it be like, if you kiss me

but i have to wake up to reality
You didn't seem to be coming for me
so tell me, is this my destiny?
to be with someone who wouldn't let me free?

W O W... this poem must be sung because it's amazing... suitable words in a suitable place...
I really enjoyd reading it although it's painful and sad, but the way you expressed the situation was deeply and perfectly amazing...
