Life of the business

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Jan 8, 2009

Wake up to a new day
Stacks of cash in my hands
Pocket full of drugs
Time to make some business plans

14 years old on the streets
Driving a brand new Royles Royce
You guys say I could give up this life
But would you make the same choice

15 years old on the streets
Three warehouses in my name
Don't kid yourself boys and girls
You cannot do the same

16 years old on the streets
Just killed my first man
The smile that came afterwords
Wasn't part of the plan

Police on the payroll
D.E.A on my back
Just new people to bribe
And more money to stack

i just just made my career
Now its the D.E.A's turn
Time to watch the skyscraper of money
Start to crash and burn

Can't trust anyone in this life
Because money kind of disappears
Then the feds show up
And you end up serving two years

But you know I got lucky
That that was all that I got
They asked me how I did it
And I say instinct cannot be taught

I was made for this business
But don't be led astray
Don't try to live my life
You wouldn't survive a day
