These Tears Are For You

I wanted to write you a poem, so say that i miss you.
And to let you know your leaving, has left me feeling blue.

I will start with saying, i havent yet moved on,
Because saying goodbye to you, somehow feels so wrong.
It eats at my heart each day ive faced without you by my side,
And those tears of which are shed for you, i have really learned to hide.

I know your watching over me every step of the way,
And i still know youre with me, every single day,
You are the one who protects me, and you do it fairly well.
Youre the one who looks out for me, my beautiful guardian angel.

I know that in this tough time, you can pull me through,
But it doesnt take away the fact that i really do miss you.
But for you there will always be that place within my heart,
Even if in person, we are so very far apart.

    Ok-first line i think the "so say" is supposed to be "to say"? don't know if that was just a typo or not :)

    this was really sweet-very sad but also rally nice in the message. Is it based on a true story/experience? a death? a break-up? someone moving away? could work for either one.

    I especially liked the 2nd stanza-another beautiful write.
