Spiritual holocaust

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Jan 23, 2009

I have a dream
That I wish could come true
My dream is very simple
I wish that our world makes it through

We kill each other
For reasons we don't understand
Carrying the world on your shoulders
Kind of makes it hard to stand

We fight for religions
Based on the same thing
We torture each other
Because of the similar hymns we sing

We worship the same god
Yet we bomb each other in his name
How is it we hate change
Even though we all live the same

But like I said before
It was only a dream
War is simply eternal horror
I can't help but scream

When will we be able to actually tell
The difference between a friend and a foe
I can't even say its getting better
For we have so far to go

What did we do to cause this
We my fellow humans are lost
This war amongst ourselves
Has become a spiritual holocaust
