Little Mistake

by Valiantpenguin   Mar 18, 2009

I'm sorry Dad.
I know that I'm not beautiful
My hair isn't blond enough
My eyes are brown instead of blue
I'm not thin the way you want me to be.

I'm sorry Dad.
I'm just like my mom
I've got her attitude
I can't keep from reminding you of her
I'm not good enough to be your little girl.

I'm sorry Dad.
I can't be unborn
My life is something you can't take back
Though you think I shouldn't be alive
I will not give up for your sake.

I love you Dad.
Though all I am is your little mistake.

It's so sad. It's a beautiful poem, but it's also depressing.

This poems brought tears to my eyes.

    Very well expressed. 5/5
