Hold Her Hand

by Stephanie   Mar 18, 2009

When the tears roll down her face,
From the fruitless effort she gave,
When she says she's had enough,
I want to be there to hold her hand

I'll hold her hand,
And whisper in her ear,
"I believe you can."

When she's scared to try,
To leap off into the world,

I'll hold her hand,
And whisper in her ear,
"Give it your best shot."

When she has failed,
And wants to let it all go,

I'll take her into my arms,
And say,
"Everything will be ok."
