Bring the rain, let it pour down upon me
I can take on any pain sweet Jesus, see
You once gave me life and a loving home
Things that will keep me strong as I roam
Across the big blue skies,over land and sea

There is no place in this world I'd rather be
than in Your arms, have my heart, let me
be inside Your warm embrace, my home
Bring the rain......

Love bears all things and thus sets us free
I surrender to You, who once died for me
My savior, my shelter, my one true home
I will praise You Lord, wherever I may roam
Set-backs are just lessons, love is the key
Bring the rain......

Rondeau
A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a
sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR. Lines 9 and 15 are short - a
refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the
same metrical length).

    Maya I really love your Rondeau and everyday I find I want to give thanks for what our God and Saviour has give me. Like you all it takes is anything that brings joy or happiness in all its wonderous forms a song a childs smiles, my wife who fills my heart daily, my children and grandchildren. So much joy and so much because of his sacrifice for us to give thanks for. I to have never heard this song but will be looking it up on the net shortly. Excellent 5/5
