True youth

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Jul 24, 2009

You swear to me he's better
But I see past your painted smile
All I have to say to that
Is I hope he makes your life worth while

Because I was such a horrible lover
I must've done everything wrong
I'm not listening because its the same old dance
Just the same old song

How could you love someone like me
A drug addict and a sinner
This game will destroy your life
It wasn't meant for beginners

But say what you want to say
I will always know the truth
When I hear the words you say, I laugh
And think this is true youth
