I don't miss you,

I know that you're there,

you haven't really left.

and i know you still care.

I don't miss us,

we were great til the end.

I look back and laugh,

and i scored a best friend.

What digs a hole inside,

The only thing i miss:

Is having someone hold me,

Having someone to kiss.

Having someone rock me slowly,

brush stray hairs off my cheek.

Make me feel like a child,

all safe, soft and meek.

Having someone i can run to,

who will lift me from my feet.

Who will look at me like I'm beautiful,

truly make my heart beat.

This is what ive lost,

This is what I miss.

So would someone bring me back to life,

With a passionate, sweet, first kiss.
