Glancing around the room, eyes meeting.
Recognition, a greeting.
Encounter fleeting,
heart beating.
Close.

Moving nearer, glances repeating.
Desire is mounting, heating.
Encounter fleeting,
heart beating.
Knows.

A myriad of thoughts competing.
Reality retreating.
Encounter fleeting,
heart beating.
Chose.
