Let Them Know You Are Near

Dear God with your help
let a broken heart mend
from your gentle touch
and seek the comfort that
is needed much

Let many a lost soul
find a way tonight
as you guide them
toward your light

Let the crying eyes
break free from depression
seal the black hole
that clouds their decision

Let your faithful children know
you are always near
and whisper message of
courage in their ear

Let this dying world find peace
and learn to open its arms
abolish evil that reigns
show them God
this place can be warm

Dear God protect all who
are far and near even
when they forget you

Give me the strength
to help those in need
so I can put a smile
upon their life

    What a wonderfully written prayer of hope. Very nice touch and definitely a welcomed sight among the news events in society everytime we turn on the TV or some form of media. Lovely indeed.
