Breakfast in Bed

by Sylvia   Feb 17, 2010

Once upon a time there was a man,
Ringo was his name.
His greatest wish was for breakfast in bed.
A heavenly aphrodisiac, temptation at its best.
The logical conclusion was,
a day of mad love with his mate.
With bravery, he made his idea known.
She responded by dumping
the breakfast all over him and the bed.
Now his dream is soiled as well as the linens.

Club Challenge: Write a poem using these 10 words or phrases.

soiled, bravery, temptation, aphrodisiac, Ringo, mad love, logical conclusion, once upon a time, breakfast in bed, heavenly

Poor Ringo, did he have to wash the linen as well?
Word flow could have been better I think.

Nicely done with the challenge. somehow you take some random words and are able to use them all in one poem that makes sense. Ringo , i'll never forget what that means now, lol. least you taught me something. great job .
