Hope (Cascadent)

by Sylvia   Mar 11, 2010

Hope,
sanguine expectations.

Hope,
aspiration for the future.

Hope,
fills a heart with grace.

Hope,
faith, belief in our dreams.

Hope,
desire, longing for the best.

Fond hope,
full of promise.

Fervent hope,
intensity of spirit.

Never give up on hope,
believe in yourself,
embrace it with enthusiasm, optimisim.

May your life be filled with,
Hope! Hope! Hope!

Cascadent poetry requires the use of a common word. The word has to end or start the first five lines. But whichever you choose must be consistent, either start or end. Do not mix. Then an extra word of your choice plus the common word for two lines. Then three lines where the word is incorporated once only anywhere. Finally, the common word must be the last line repeated three times.

You made this seem so easy, Silvia, when I know it's not.

To have hope and faith in yourself and the future are essential, those who lose it are already dying...sometimes in their teens already.

Nice to see such an optimistic piece posted:]

    God bless,

Sylvia..you did a very good job not only with
the form but also you used it to spread a good message...hope, something this world
    lacks at times. Well done!
