Why

by Jad   Apr 11, 2010

Touching moments come into play.
Just to be forgotten along the way,
But your memory in me hurts more
Than the touching moments bore.

Hate should arise but I am empty.
Left and took away my serenity,
One fateful day as you died.
-At least in me with all your lies-

I lie here thinking of you,
Wandering if you vice versa do.
Mothers Love- I ask what is that
As my heart beat becomes flat.

No signs of life you give.
How am I suppose to live?
Separated from you so very long
Could it have been something I did wrong.

Questions asked every day
Answered one day they may.
But the one that in my heart lies
Is the one I often ask- Why?

This is in memory of my mother who left two years ago and whom I haven't heard a word.

After reading the end and seeing your clincher and how the title works its way into the whole mix was quite brilliant. every line was pure emotion. i have never had something happen to me like this, but after reading this. i may have some idea. you described it quite vividly. you have quite the talent for expression. very well done. 5/5

I'm sorry about the situation. I'm sure its very hard on you & the question why would definitely be in your mind..wondering why she left. I hope you get an answer because you deserve it. You can really feel your emotion in this piece, nicely done.

Austin, this is very sad and the question of why may never be answered. It is not your fault that she decided to go. Sometimes mothers and fathers think there is no other way out of their problems and don't realize the hurt and pain they leave behind in making decisions to leave. I really hope some day you will be the one to get an answer to why. Well done.
