Rain upon the Roof

by Jad   Apr 29, 2010

A rhapsody of metal clinging,
As drop of waters fall down,
Sliding down the roof onto the ground
With this sound repeatedly ringing.

The echo in a silent room,
Of clouds crying up above.
A feeling so beloved
Of these clouds that loom.

Beating upon beating are bared,
And never once though does it break,
Holding up the water as it doesn't breaks,
-A shelter from the elements of the air-

Finally the rain has stopped,
The sound dies away.
Letting out the suns rays,
As the last raindrop drops.

Austin there is nothing like the sound of rain on a roof, especially a tin roof. Nice job.
