Yellow. Blue, and gray.

by Fluffy   Jun 10, 2010

I watched a cloud, a
cloud unlike most.
It didn't move, but moved

Colossal and faint
it folded, motionless.
Gazing, far beyond my gold
horizon, it changed.

And then, as if in an instance,
the Heavens were
the palette of my heart
and the cloud in its midst,
a lone
thought of you.

"Look at the clouds, what colour are they?"
Vermeer looks on.
", not white. Yellow. Blue, and gray.
They're the colour of the clouds"

- Inspired by Girl with a Pearl Earring and Clair de Lune.
