Robots And Them.

by Fluffy   Jan 2, 2008

I am no Alfred Prufrock;
you were self invited to decorate my tardy brain.
It was made to break, either way.

Never mind.

In my foremost attempt for world
domination, you laughed.
I failed
even to win the gratitude of your heart.

But lets keep this simple.
You told me to "wait"
but were you not the one holding my
map?

Encapsulate everything I have
done for your merriment.
To walk you up the aisle,
wrap your vows around my being.

Useless.

Take me for a loser. Go on.
I'll wear a blood stained shirt
and out-turn the hat on my head.
Wear a new mask, it's
"only a trend".

Speeding, wasted cars;
our journey's not just begun.
Resenting the restlessness I dread
at daylight; yearn for you to bring my
heart to "soul perfection".

Why do I lie to myself?
(I love her).

Full stop. No, of course not.

Rules come last in your game.
But I have learned to lose interest at
a rapid progress.

Because you've taken one too many
breaks.
It all comes down to the breaks.
One too many promises--

--then I resume. I will always resume.
(a lack of choice).

I shall be your twisted Robot. And you, one of Them.

Beautifully written u are truly talented me. you made me pause, daze, dream, and invision your words from the very first line. You are truly talented keep up the writing. And if I may offer my advice walk away baby girl its not worth it if their is no certainty and no committment on his part because it is unbalanced and will only lead to heartbreak. I been there I know from experience. It may sting for awhile but it will fade away. Don't settle find better.
