She Sings

by Alexandra   Aug 24, 2010

And she sings the saddest song,
That you'll ever hear.
About all the strong times,
That turned into her fears.

She sings of her misery,
With tears on her face.
She remembers all the torture,
In that hell of a place.

It echos in her memories,
At the back of her mind.
In dreams she hears the screaming,
Of innocence lost in time.

She's locked in her room,
All by herself.
She stares at the knife,
As it sits on the shelf.

Her haunting continues,
No matter where she goes.
You can still see the scars,
On her heart arms and toes.

You can still see the hurt,
In her tears every night.
And she can't help but wonder,
If it's ever worth the fight.

The fight to stay alive,
To keep herself sane.
Her fight to move on,
And forget all her pain.

But it's so hard to do,
Her heart aches so bad.
She just wants to be happy,
Not suicidal and sad.

And when she sings her song,
I guarantee it's the saddest you'll hear.
About all her memories,
That created every fear.
