Walking Through the Halls

by Alexandra   Aug 24, 2010

I walk through the halls,
And see your face.
It happens every day,
Every time and every place.
I can't stop thinking about you.
You see me walk by,
Are you thinking of me too?
I look behind me,
And see her there.
I feel my heart rip,
But you're too busy to care.
I walk through the halls,
With tears in my eyes.
Looking and feeling,
Like I'm going to cry.
In my memory,
A knife passes by.
Reminding me of the days,
I wanted to die.
Everyone is cheery,
But his talking is like a song.
It echos through the halls,
As I walk on and on.
Trying to get a grip on myself,
I'll force a smile on my face,
Wipe the tears from my eyes,
And pretend I'm okay.
