Chapter 1: A Love Unexplainable!

by Jack Nightengale   Nov 16, 2010

Like the night's sky has the moon to give it light,
Like a bird has wings to give it flight.
Like a weapon that cuts through my enemy, you are my knife,
To the woman I love, that put a purpose back into my life.

When I talk to you, heavily my heart pounds,
Just the thought of you, make fly off the ground.
Knowing that I have you, gives me a reason for this life,
Dreaming that one day, you will be with me as my wife!

My fav stanza from the poem(: !
Knowing that when you hear her voice your heart pounds fast, knowing she's the only thing making your life worth while and some day she might be your wife...who ever you wrote this for is really lucky kris:)

That is a super sweet poem, however even more importantly you chose your words well and it was really descriptive and well-expressed. Makes me wish I was the you wrote it for :)

:) I love the love between your lines..pretty obvious.
you had some deep deep lines, yet between me and you :P you dif force it a little for the sake of the rhyming.

I love the title..and i love the great feelings you penned down.
If you aimed to show her , how much this guy in the poem..loves this woman in the poem.

    then you're there!
    5/5
