The Middle of a Sentence

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 3, 2010

Life is an unfinished composition
a trembling earthquake of dissonances
that coalesce at the flooded base
to discover one expressible melody,
where conflicts collide on a canvas
and abstract time meets understanding.
We are all painters from a colorless world
given strong and impassioned brushes
for initiative movements among soulless minds,
our words sculpt diction and clarity
gliding trapped emotions over broken fragments.
