Binded by a Trust

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 3, 2010

My cross feels much heavier
than any weight I've pulled before,
my heart drags itself to beat
while I sink further down
where leaps of faith are stalled
and children weep on instinct,
all I am asking for is your touch.
I've never felt or seen your face
but I know you remain inside
these battles forced to solve themselves
are directed toward you humble mind.
Let me know and in time see
the footsteps you want me to lead
because I'm broken and I come with shame
to hear your silent but moving grace.
