Brilliant Sunshine

Brilliant Sunshine

How may I write of her beauty
lest she be my light and my guide?
How may she shine just for me
without casting beams worldwide?

"Bring me the sunset in sleeping cups
touching senses, my heart does leap
let night gently pour, as light fills up
dress her in yellow rays, let sorrow sleep"

For tomorrow the sun is sure to rise
another day will be there for us all
while I yet dream of her soft eyes
in winter, spring, summer, and fall

"Swaying around, with sweetness still
she sinks deep within the yellowish hill
Continuously breathing in hope until
Autumn dreams fall to give me a thrill."

She was born in early springtime
But I was born much too late
To capture with rhythm and rhyme
A timeless beauty that is so great

This is a collab.. the quotes are from Brilliant Sunshine AKA Nana who gave me permission to quote her
