And he reminds me

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 19, 2011

Closing with backward aspects
I feel my mind stop the discriminations
and hear the entrance to my heart
open and no longer shelter light.

I start to think like the rain
and withhold my regrets,
knowing what I've done
does not amount to anything
in his forgiving seas that merge,
into the swallows and shafts
of my deepest faith.
