Not so far

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 26, 2011

I didn't bother to cover my scars
or conceal my glossy eyes of
gathered indifference,
wearing black stars that introduce
the midnight performance.

Will you be cast as my lover?
I have a overzealous feeling
you and I will lead the shore
into an instrumental score.
