Seven more musicals

by Poet on the Piano   Feb 22, 2011

Cologne lingers after the leaves
of my seasonal muse,
where I am left, in an endless dress,
flapping the sides of insanity.
The days are slipping from lips
daintily laden with winged win,
flown in from incomprehensible
notions & states of mind.
I will no longer fool you,
this wind is much stronger
than your wooden potion.
You stilled the air-
shot it with glasses,
but I will sing it back.
This shining is around me;
my eyes see other love.

- Inspired by Goldfrapp's song "A & E" off of her album: Seventh Tree.
