Neither is my question
how fast how hard
are what should be
asked. Knives in
my spine pain on
the mind you
were a thick
pill to swallow...

Cut my throat up
with false hope
drown in HCl
from so many acid
loves. Why deceive
me the beholder
of your light...
why black out my
shine?

Did I deserve the
foul treatment
lingering in daily
routines? Did I?
You can't cough up
an excuse. Can't
find something
fancy to say. This
all was one huge
mistake.

My truth is in a
dream in some
one else's sleep.
Wake me up
in time to
say goodbye
to midnight,
to say hello
to a new era.
