Unconvicted~

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 12, 2011

-

Wherever there is a window,
my eyes gaze to taste the sky
and forget what I know
to reach new beliefs-
because the thought of breathing
in new doses of memory,
incites my heart to indulge
with infinity.

Though my reason is impractical,
liveliness is never absent.
And this momentary gust
of musing respiration,
dares my lyrical exercise
to become standards of living.

So each morning,
I stretch my heart,
and let words fly out...
feelings that animate
a dying pose.
