Grasping~Acrostic

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 14, 2011

Believing my life was the only breath
Constricted and without freedom to
Dream, I wandered into the lonely route.

Easy to pave but hard to swallow rocks,

Falling from rigid diameters impossibly
Gripping a battle I never wanted.
Horizon's victory softens my face
In asking myself who is watching me?
Just as the world knocks down my heart
Keeping levelled gravity next-
Little can I do to finally realize
My own existence is one of servitude.
No one can think they can win
On moving forward without faith's action,
Pouring out love toward broken promises.
