Loving you was not a choice
Falling for you was not a decision
Thinking about you all the time
Is not something I have control on

But how I miss the sound of your voice
Hoping it would whisper "I'm your passion"
Even if loving you was a crime
Letting go would be more wrong

I constantly daydream about you
Hoping that one dream would surprisingly come true
Why "You" ? I wish I knew

All those eye contacts that we share
Will remain as the most beautiful memories in my head
I remember those days when you used to stare
When I wrote this letter for you, never to be read

How lovely would it be if you said "you're mine"
All I know is that I could be your faith, your truth
Your reality, your guide, your light in the dark that makes you shine
If only I knew what's going through your mind
What if someday you turned around and left me behind
Will I be strong enough to look forward and move on
Why would you leave me here to make it on my own

I'm sure I've never felt this way before
And then again I ask myself...
Why "You"

You were so easy to love
Loving you was just a grace
And since you were always in my heart
I thought I can beat the world

I never knew that it's not enough
And love was meant to be embraced
If we can't fight for it from the start
Our lives will end up as a big swirl

I always knew in my heart, that it was you
But my dreams, just like yours, might never come true
So I stand there and always wonder
Why "You" ? I wish I knew

I remember the days when we used to
Sit in silence looking at the sunrise
You thought that I never knew
But I could easily read it in you eyes

I wished that I can tell you someday
That you really had me at hello
But things always come up in our ways
So I kept it inside, so no one knows

But now I should tell you this
Its hard for me to let go of you
Because you were my hero, my strength, my rock
You were the reason my life was a bliss

I ask myself, wishing I knew
How could you fall in love with a person
Who really believes, they don't deserve you

I wish I can stop, before I hurt you
Because I knew my feelings were true
But then again I ask myself...
How could I ever do that to "You"
