River Bend

I left a long huge wide wordy comment but this lovely pc signed me out so I had to get over my misery first then come back to comment all over again....but you know what? I'm glad it did vanish, it made less sense in my opinion, so this will be a new start. :P

Ok, I remember I said in my first comment that I loved this work and it hit home for me...but NOW I want to add that THIS WORK IS AMAZINGLY WRITTEN BECAUSE YOUR WORDS JUST TOOK MY BREATHS AWAY AND I DON'T SEEM TO FIND THE PROPER WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOUR WORDS BECAUSE THEY LEFT ME SPEECHLESS AND I AM SORRY IF I AM MAKING NO SENSE BUT IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!

I believe I've waited too much that
patience poured wild enough to
drown me at the verge of that river
bend, where I pointlessly dwell,
where you never pass by.

I WONDER TOO ABOUT WHAT I SHOULD SAY ....WHILE THIS PIECE IS JUST TOO AMAZING TO BE DESCRIBED...HEY, WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY PLAIN PUZZLEMENT? THAT HE DOESNT UNDERSTAND YOU OR PERHAPS DOESNT KNOW THE LOVE YOU ARE HOLDING WITHIN FOR HIM....WHO KNOWS!!?

This reminds me of a dream I had last night, especially the last stanza about the hunting me at night.. Yikes. It was a freakish dream.

This poem reads much differently from those of yours I'm accustomed to, it was almost as though you had so much feeling and so many words, that you didn't want to seem wordy and maybe had a bit of a struggle. The best part about the whole piece is the unfailing emotion! Your poetry is always so full of emotion it's beyond me.. and THAT is what makes poetry. :)

It's hard to say more then what the others have said. I find a lot of help in reading your work. This was passionate and sad . Loved every single line

Incredible passionate write that hits home. It's easy to always wait somewhere for that someone and let it determine your day- very strong feelings....especially the part about him being confused and you knowing it must be time to move on.

Beautifully woven with the "river bend" image in my head....clever and hard to imagine moving on from this discovery and just letting life take up in flight and hope develop.

Will read again...it's so deep and there are a lot of words my heart hums to!
