Till I Rise

by Paul Gondwe   Oct 2, 2011

Living my life as a vegetable,
facing unforseen forces,
fighting my way through the struggle
Hopes of conquests,
victories unheard yet spoken of

I will be the one setting souls free
My writings penetrating deep like roots of a bao-bao tree

I hope to see a better me,a better future,
where all people love and respect each other
Let these times pass,
no more greed at last

Only wish time would pass by fast,
like bullets from a sniper rifle,
one shot one kill is the phrase,
and so i try to live my life in a phase
Once these times pass,we cant get them back

My life is planned out
I try to remain focused avoiding the stout
Let peace reign in the streets i shout,
trapped in my brain are images of hate and violence
Hypocricy you say, hell no

I hold on to my enemies so they see me rise
I look dumb, paranoid,
yet am wise
A sleeper agent waitin to be activated,
while i speak of the truth and get hated,
of women suffering, descriminated

Times are at hand
Anxiously wait for my rise,
now a teenager but destined to be great,
till i rise
