You & I

-Longer then my usual poems, But only way I could write it out of my heart :) -

Lost count with how many times I tried
to get this out,
to let you hear what I'm thinking with out
breaking your heart into a million pieces,
sit down love, take a deep breath,
don't say a word until I've finished.

This is where I begin...
Breathtaking magical love, explains
what we once had,
so deep in love our eyes only saw each other,
never strayed to a guy on my right,
or to the girl on your left,
focused on each other,
barely somebody saying hey could snap
our attention from one another.

Oh the tears I've shed from you,
the unbearable pain you caused,
you gave up on me, so I gave up on you,
walked away to never turn back,
until the day I hear you've said you still love me,
what? jaw dropped, in complete utter shock,
doing so well, I had moved on, I was over you,
my mind boggled, until my light bulb turned on.

This might hurt, so I'm forewarning you now,
you did me so wrong, I should hate you,
I should threaten your life if you cross paths with me,
but i don't, honestly... you will always be in my heart,
but you disgust me, you fell so low,
you destroyed me, tore my heart apart,
never in a million years would I have thought,
we'd be out of each others lives.

Glad, Happy, Some emotions to describe the
fact that you & I no longer are together,
if you hadn't hurt me, I wouldn't have found
this new amazing guy, Yes we aren't together,
but my hope is so strong in him,
we are just meant to be, unlike you & I,
just a learning lesson in this cruel world.

I'm almost done, hold on love,
You & I will never be again,
We're over, done, through with in this life,
you had your chance, you threw it away,
Love me all you want, my mind is made up,
I will always treasure our memories,
but this time around,
my heart will never go back to you.
