Cruel Intentions

by Meme   Dec 2, 2011

Out of the blue you hugged
me so tightly, I honestly thought
you'd never let go, never realizing
that you were slowly leading me to
something else.

You left me that night, but you also
left your scent behind, Oh how nice
of you to think of that. I guess my
innocent judgment failed to read your
intentions.

I knew a day would come where the
title "abandoned" would create the
perfect play for me to start in, but
I never knew that you'd direct every
scene in it.

This poem has great free flow and reads like an eloquent entry to a journal

    Just an opinion...

Did you mean "would create the perfect play for me to STAR in?" The word 'start' makes sense there too, I was just curious.

A poem that all of us can relate to...we have all been led in the wrong direction by love at some point.

A wonderful flow with deep emotional touches. We go into relationships blind, guided by someone we are attracted too or sometimes even family . Being abandoned comes in many forms.
    Excellent write

    - Love this. It came unexpected that he would do you the way he did. That all the pain and hurt you feel he caused.

All the pain and hurt you feel you can feel as you're reading it. You can see him holding onto you tight & you being surprised as you see hes the director. Flawless<3
