Possibilities

I have written countless poems
so many for and about you
so it could seem that I love you
but hidden from my eyes
as perhaps I can't figure out why

Hidden deep in my heart
my love for you, I could not see
and perhaps I was not ready
for I have hidden my feelings
I know you see

You have gave me no knowing
for that of which you feel for me
so I had exactly no possibility
of knowing what we could be

you are a man of mystery

Impossible is what I see
for you disguise everything
blocking me from getting closer

What if we were meant to be together

I miss you more than what we both know
more than I can understand
or comprehend

I can't grasp you
you were always like
a passing dream

Like a ghost holding me,
feeling the comforting embrace

It hurts to think of losing you
the possibility of loving you,
I tried to forget you

you're nothing but a dream
