You're Next -Kinda Long-

by believeinlove87   Jan 14, 2012

"Why didn't you ever tell me? This
could have be prevented..." she thinks
with tears streaming down her
face laying next to her lover in the
puddle of blood.

Five days earlier,
awaking to the sun rays pouring
through the window blinds,
Just an average day, cooking breakfast, getting
ready for work, kissing her boy friend goodbye
as he rushes out the door.

Seven pm comes. Knock, Knock on the door.
Nobody's there; On the bottom step lays a packet.
No idea who its from, only saying addressed to him;
Picking it up she hands it to him. Opening the envelope,
inside an individual piece of paper saying
"You're next."

Chills run down his spine, trying to hide it from her.
Keeping the horrific events that has haunted him in his
past; Telling everybody his parents died in a car accident
when the truth is, They were killed in a vicious cold blooded murder.
The killer never was caught. Vanished
into thin air until now.

Banging on the door, hiding in the closet. Aware that his day has come to join his beloved parents. The door gets kicked in. Opening the closet door; the last thing that was heard was his screams for help as the killer pulls the trigger.

Arriving home, police tape around the front yard. She runs
inside to find her beloved boyfriend in a puddle of blood. Tears
race out her eyes as she opens the letter
in his cold hand; Reading " I'm sorry
I never told you..."

- Might fix this later on -

Wow, love... So powerful and pulled me into the story so deeply...

If you fix it let me know, I want to read it once you fix; it's an amazing tragic story.
