Everyday

by Stephanie   Feb 4, 2012

Biting my tongue,
I ponder what to say
What can I do to change,
The same from happening everyday?

Yelling, crying, we don't see eye to eye
Demands, accusations, I'm always on trial

Dealing with stubbornness is tough to do,
Especially when the stubborn one is not just you

It's hard to see
Through this blinding snow,
Of ignorance and stupidity

Pity the speaker
For she recites the truth
The truth no one will hear,
And the truth no one will listen

But just like fairytales,
Reality needs to be told too
Though it won't put you to bed at night
It'll ease the burden of those who bite their tongue
And try to do what is right
