The Truth lied to me

by Jenni   Feb 20, 2012

Since we do not discuss
about who loves the other more

I will simply do "he loves me,
he loves me not" with a cloverleaf,
that has three petals.

Only like that
the result will be certain,
though it's different with us.

I don't want to know how it ends,
I prefer to think, that it never ends,

but to be honest,
it did not even start.

You said, that you'd first
have to find yourself,
not realizing, that I am
already there, waiting.

They say, that true love
is eternal,

that life sentence is a gift
instead of a punishment,

but for who of us?

I guess the truth lied.

Eventually I know,
that cloverleaves wither,
that tears may dry,

but that the salt will stay
and that the only thing,
that connects us

is that we live underneath
the same sun.

Jennie, you're my angel. I just would delet the word 'the' in the title, I felt it kind of weak. The three petals refer that you're aware/doubting that he loves you not, still you want to convince yourself that he indeed does so you picked up a three petal-ed flower. How inspiring. Nominated the next week no bet.

    Jenni, WOW.
You kite runners are writing amazing pieces of art...

I LOVe the way you incorporated the plucking of flower on 'he loves me, he loves me not' and not only this, but the fact that it has three petals only.

You're lying to yourself with the three petals, for eventually youll find that he loves you.

    PERFECT!!!!
