Don't Worry,

by Jump from Life   Mar 8, 2012

Dear Mother,
Please don't you worry,
and I'm terribly sorry
but you never listened!
And on my wrist, crimson glistened.
I lied about how it got there
but you never doubted me.

Dear Father,
Please don't worry,
your little girl is sorry
for all the hurt she's caused you
but it hurt me when you flew
out that door
so many years before.

Dear Sister,
Please don't you worry,
I love you and i'm sorry
but your too young to understand
about why this is happening and
how this affects you.

Dear Brother,
Please, don't you worry
I'm deeply sorry.
I won't get to see you grow up
but please, raise your cup
and remember me
the girl that you normally see.

Dear Papa,
Please, don't worry!
I swear to god I'm sorry
Please, dont end it because of me
Keep your own mind steady,
I don't want you to leave the earth
Please papa, live to see another birth.

Dear Friends,
Please don't you worry,
I am very sorry
that i couldn't let you in
that I couldn't let you see my sin.
You guys made my life better
But in the end, this is my last letter.

Please don't worry about me,
I'll be living in complete empathy
Up there in the sky
When I finally die.

Incredible....I liked the way your poem though a letter is structured into a poem and beautifully written about a girl who is leaving her life for all that has happened to her but still shows concern for all those people in her life, good or bad...!!
    Every verse was fab..!!

It's a good piece. I like that you take into account all of your love ones. I hope that this letter is more towards realizing that even though we do sin, it's up to us to mend them by not committing them again. I don't think to die is the answer; I also believe that you don't think that either. At some point in our lives, we might have think about it, but really it's not the solution because that causes more pain to our family and friends and they can feel like it's their fault because they didn't do enough. I have always think about that and there is always a solution to our problems but dying is not. We just have to be patient and writing or talking about our problem could help us deal with them.
