I use to hate our break up.
I use to hold so many regrets;
Wishing I could go back in time,
And thought there was nothing left!
Thinking there was nothing worse,
Then losing your love!
It was a curse.
But then our friendship,
Was at stake!
Not just losing things like your hands!
A more painful thing fate was to take,
And more despair scattered the lands!
It wasn't our separation,
That tore us down!
But the condensation,
Fogging up your vision!
Is touring us apart!
Can we go back to the start?
When you didn't throw at me darts;
And I wasn't hit by the replacement cart!
I didn't have such a broken heart!
Now she's come into your life!
And more damage is done;
Then when you said our love was gone!
The break up didn't end this roughly!
I was bleeding;
But not this badly,
Because then I had your friendship!
You threw lies in my face,
And I'm bleeding under the surface!
I miss your embrace!
But at least I still had your face,
But now that's deserting!
So much pain you are bringing!
I didn't realize it was better;
Then your hands against my hip!
Your friendship was everything!
Even without a ring.
But now we're hanging on by a string!
Kindness,
Appreciation you use to see!
Laughter,
Smiles we use to bring!
But now she's taken away that!
Swooshed jealousy in a hat!
In my face.
And I have to ask,
On every surface?
What makes her so special?
You have to throw away!
Us all!
