This is strong, powerful, and unique because in today's world it can seem like everyone and everything is out to bring you down but not for you this has more than just emotion this has SOUL

The title of this poem is filled with confident and it draws the reader to read more!

If there is one thing i know,
is that I am true to myself
A proud African son whose not
ashamed of his skin

^A very good and sincere statement! There are some who feel ashamed just to say where they are from but your voice behind these lines is filled with pride and confidence! Liked it :)

I keep hope in my pockets
while i bask in the sun
and search for faith
deep in the chambers of my heart

^Another verse that portrays a young man who has not lost hope and walks hand in hand with faith. This particular stanza really stands out!

I have grown to conquer misery,
to stand proud and tall knowing
I am young gifted and black
with a passion to write
