Losing Grip

Looking left, looking right
close my eyes,
hide the tears.
Nobody can know about,
my inner fears.

I've been left alone too many times.
So, I can no longer feel.
Hurt and crying in the night,
how can I be alright?

You'll never know what happened,
nobody ever will.
Tonight's the last night
that I'll hide,
because my grip that was tight
has given out, I can't see any light.

    Sad and known feeling, but you really made it sound beautiful there so good job ^^.

    Was just thinking if it wouldn`t sound better if inplace of "close my eyes, you would use either "I close my eyes,
    hide the tears." to hide the tears."
    or "closing my eyes, Just my opinion of course.
    hiding the tears."
