Not Just Anyone

Today I realised that you
are not just another name
that passes by in my head,
neither are you a face that
I blankly look at. You were
a different stop in my busy
life, and even when I am in
the middle of chaos my mind
still finds its way to you.

In between the lines you write
I have found a home for me, a
place I can be who I really am
because only you can see the
true reflection of me. And with
your thoughts my pen moved to
build you a world of poetry, where
you were the master of it all.

Now promise me to never let the
sunset steal you again from me,
and promise me that I will always
see the waves crashing in your eyes.

    Oh, this is so beautiful. It made my heart sigh.

    My favorite lines are:
