What does it mean for you to deny yourself?

What does it mean for you to deny yourself?

What was the first sin? Satan said I will be like Him.
I will exalt my throne above God, I will rule alone.
From Heaven he did fall, down to earth to rule over all.
The father of lies is he; we see his destruction in all history.
The promise of God, made to Adam and
Eve, Satan defeated by the woman's seed.
Down from Heaven He came, the word of God,
bearing His name, the Son of love, from our Father above.
He came, new life to give, repentant sinners to forgive.
Those who truly know Him are broken within, knowing the awesome penalty He paid for all their sin.
They live new lives in every way, the lusts of the flesh
they now hate today.
They hear His voice, deny themselves and make a new choice.
Deny yourself, serve others today, to give is to live as Jesus did say.
The sinful lusts of the flesh are for a season; your sins will find you out, those from the rooftops the people will shout.
Your shame will not be cast aside, the pain it has caused will abide, there will be nowhere to hide.
Those who hate Him can't hear what He has to say,
they love their sin and continue in that way.
They love sex, sensuality not fearing the cost, they heed not God's warning that this is the way of the lost.

Choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, Hebrews 11:25 NASB

. Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 1-Corinthians 6:9 NLT.

"But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the LORD; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out Numbers 32:23

My prayer is that those living in opposition to God's word will Repent; cry out to the Lord Jesus to deliver them as He did for me. Then the fear of facing judgment, death and eternal separation from God will be gone, which is His promise in the word of God.

As Paul the Apostle wrote; "Woe unto me if I fail to preach the Gospel of Christ"

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17 NIV.
